To Do in Toronto This Week

by Gillian on July 4, 2012

Mahmoud, the hilarious and moving one woman show by my friend Tara kicks off tonight!  Showing in Toronto Fringe until Saturday July 14th (and coming to NYC Fringe in August!)  If anyone wants to catch an early show with me next Tuesday let me know!

Muttonhead Collective is a part of a great pop up shop by Trinity Bellwoods opening tomorrow night (celebrate the opening with gin and Mexican beer!)

The Drake launches a new summer menu this week!

Summerlicious starts Friday!  Get your prix fixe menus for a steal at 181 restaurants around the city.  $45 prix fixe at Canoe anyone?

Toronto Underground Market is going down this Saturday.  Tickets are sold out, but if you can manage to grab one please enjoy for me (I was not fast enough to jump the gun on ticket sales).  This social food market celebrates food of Toronto’s best home cooks.

So excited about summerlicious….I was eyeing Boehmer myself but maybe that’s just because I rarely travel east of ossington! ;)

I’m tempted to go to Canoe but have a feeling they’re already booked up!

That’s because you’re too cool for the Drake. But next time you’re in Toronto I’m taking you and buying you a fancy drink.
